Would You Be Willing to Be a Unity of Gainesville FL Greeter?
Our church is seeking volunteers to act as "Greeters." You would:
This would be your main purpose as Greeter. You would represent the welcoming "face" of Unity of Gainesville FL. You would offer them refreshments; engage them in conversation about themselves; and, if time permits, answer questions they may have about our church or refer them to the Minister or Board Member. You will receive a more detailed orientation and have an opportunity to shape this program as it evolves.
Your commitment to Unity is:
Please say YES.
- Greet visitors as they enter the building;
- Show them around our facility and offer them hospitality;
- Orient them to our services and programs (events, sign-up sheets, etc.);
- Hand out Welcome Packet, bulletin, songs, when available
- Sit with them during the first service; and
- Introduce them to others before the service, during the service (if they agree), and after the service.

Your commitment to Unity is:
- Sign up as greeter at least once every 6 weeks
- Arrive at 10:15 am on Sunday
- Pray or meditate in preparation to welcome people into our church
