ART & CRAFT DISPLAY AREA
​The Gathering Room has a bookshelf-gallery holding art and craft made by our Unity family. It is colorful and welcoming; there to enjoy.​
Shelves are still available for more. If you want to display your art, stop by the church on Tue/Wed/Thu, 10 am to 2 pm. Check with the office staff to select a space.

Church Maintenance &  Beautification

Dear Beloved Congregants and Friends of Unity,
   Thanks go out to many who have contributed their time, talent, and treasure for repairing, improving and beautifying our church building and grounds. 
  There is much to do in the year ahead.  Please consider a designated contribution for improvements listed below.

PROJECTS AHEAD:​​
  • Air conditioner units - replace three aging units
  • Sound system - upgrade
  • Front yard sign - upgrade
  • Painting interior - kindergarten and YOU rooms
  • Floor - replace carpet, strip and re-wax tile
  • Trees - remove trees with overgrown roots warping asphalt of parking lot 
  • Parking lot - repair cracks and warping asphalt due to tree roots; repaint parking space lines
  • Grounds - repair soil erosion near deck
PROJECTS COMPLETED:​
  • 29 years old roofing removed, damaged sheathing replaced, new roof installed, gutter guards installed. November, 2023.
  • Handrail installed for easier access to stage in sanctuary (July 2022) by Paul Leiss.  It was located online by Jacque Tatum and Barbara Gordon and financed by Barbara.
  • Uniteen room - floors stripped and waxed, walls and ceiling painted by Bonnie Kilgore, Rupali Robinson, Paul Leiss, and Giovanna Drausal. (July 2022)
  • ​Bookstore upgraded and rearranged by Barbara Gordon (Sept. 2022)
  • Painting the Sanctuary by Jane Roy and team. (Feb. 2023)
  • Painting of front door and entry sign-pole to parking lot by Giovanna Drausal (March 2023)
 "Maintenance Log." -- All maintenance problems, whether they be with the building or grounds or any related items, are being recorded in a Maintenance Log.  If you see something that needs to be fixed or think you would like to see something done to improve the church building or the grounds, simply write it in the Maintenance Log.  This Maintenance Log is situated in a notebook on the table to the right of the front door as you leave the church.
 
Please record the date you are writing up the problem, a description of what the problem is, and your name.
This last entry is only so someone can contact you if it is unclear what you have written.
